We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes theatre, dance, and music, allowing students to explore various forms of artistic expression. This well-rounded approach helps develop versatile performers who can thrive in different artistic disciplines.
Performance Opportunities
Students have multiple chances to showcase their hard work and talents through individual class showcases and a collaborative final performance. These opportunities not only build confidence but also allow students to experience the joy of performing for friends and family.
Structured 4-Quarter Program
Our program follows a progressive 4-quarter structure that builds on skills learned each quarter. Students start with foundational techniques, then advance to individual showcases, collective productions, and final performance preparations, ensuring steady growth throughout the year.
Experienced Instructors
At CPAA, we take pride in our talented instructors who bring a wealth of experience to our program. We hire students from local colleges who are passionate about the arts, as well as educators from community theatres who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Our Junior Directors are local high school students, providing them with valuable leadership opportunities while inspiring the next generation of performers. This diverse team ensures a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can thrive and develop their craft.
“You can really see how much Chaz loves working with the kids. His energy is infectious, and he makes every class a joy. My kids come home excited about what they learned!”
“My child checks out at 4:45 most days but always asks to stay longer because they’re having so much fun! I’ve never seen a kid eager to stay at school later than they have to! We’re really excited about CPAA coming to our school!”
Meet the Founder
Chaz Zanaty, Founder & President
Hey there! I’m Chaz, the founder of CPAA.
Growing up, the performing arts were a huge part of my life. From choir & dance as a kid to band in middle school and theatre in high school—I did it all! The arts shaped who I am today, and I truly believe they have the power to do the same for others.
I founded Curate Performing Arts Academy (CPAA) with a mission to reintroduce the performing arts into early childhood education. Like many, my journey in theatre started in middle school, and that small program sparked a passion that never faded. Unfortunately, performing arts programs in schools are shrinking, largely because they’re no longer introduced at an early age or easily accessible for young kids. That’s why CPAA exists—to ensure the next generation has the same opportunities to discover and explore their creative potential.
Beyond CPAA, I also own Prysmic Entertainment Corp. (PEC), a full-service event and artist management company operating throughout the Southeast. PEC serves as the parent company to CPAA, allowing us to expand our reach and impact within the arts and entertainment industries.
We can’t wait to meet you!
