Meet the Founder

Chaz Zanaty, Founder & President

Hey there! I’m Chaz, the founder of CPAA.

Growing up, the performing arts were a huge part of my life. From choir & dance as a kid to band in middle school and theatre in high school—I did it all! The arts shaped who I am today, and I truly believe they have the power to do the same for others.

I founded Curate Performing Arts Academy (CPAA) with a mission to reintroduce the performing arts into early childhood education. Like many, my journey in theatre started in middle school, and that small program sparked a passion that never faded. Unfortunately, performing arts programs in schools are shrinking, largely because they’re no longer introduced at an early age or easily accessible for young kids. That’s why CPAA exists—to ensure the next generation has the same opportunities to discover and explore their creative potential.

Beyond CPAA, I also own Prysmic Entertainment Corp. (PEC), a full-service event and artist management company operating throughout the Southeast. PEC serves as the parent company to CPAA, allowing us to expand our reach and impact within the arts and entertainment industries.

We can’t wait to meet you!

My child checks out at 4:45 most days but always asks to stay longer because they’re having so much fun! I’ve never seen a kid eager to stay at school later than they have to! We’re really excited about CPAA coming to our school!
